I was asked what I wanted for Christmas, and after some thinking, I realized that I do still want to try being a mermaid for fun. Soo I asked for a finis rapid monofin and my mom ordered me one!

Today we went to Jo Ann's and got some fabric. Blue tails are just so common so I got green fabric. While we where there, I saw some amazing pink fabric that shines a yellow green color and is transparent...I don't know what you would call that kind of color, because I have seen it before used for wrapping paper and other pretty things, but I got some of that too so hopefully it will look nice on the fluke and not make it look too cheesy.

Of course I will have to wait until Christmas to get my monofin, and I need the monofin to make the mermaid tail. I know I will want to test it out right away, so I remembered that my college has a big indoor pool that I can use for free, so I might just have to go swim there!

I don't know if I will like wearing a monofin, but I think I will. I don't want to eventually get into doing kids parties like some mermaids do, but eventually if I made a silicone tail or sequin tail and people liked it, I might get into selling tails. Heck if I get good at making fabric tails I could sell those. Fabric tails are often underrated.

Anyways, that is what I am up to at the moment.

I am obsessed with peafowl. That basically sums up part of me lol. I breed and raise peafowl so I love all of their noises and pretty feathers.

I also love plants. I love tropical plants the most...Things like tree ferns, cannas, bananas, helliconia, shell ginger, elephant ears, bamboo, etc. I like gardening but my garden isn't super spectacular. XD

I have been drawing since I was really little and have stuck with it. I don't draw every day but I do draw enough not to get worse but better. I don't know what I like to draw the most. I like to draw a lot of different things and probably go through phases where I like to draw certain things.

As far as college goes, I am studying Graphic Design and have no clue what I will do once I am out of college! Hooray me!

My boyfriend is amazing and he is not only my boyfriend, but my best friend. I met him in art class and I am very happy that he is an artist so it is supper fun to talk about art with him.

Ah yes I have spoken to Friedrich Esser. He is very nice. I can't view that page since I am not on facebook but I am sure he has wonderful photos on there. He travels around to document and photograph wild green peafowl. He has 2 nice websites and he lives in Thailand breeding Indo-Chinese peafowl that are from wild caught birds.
